Career Background

Prior to entering the real estate profession in l977, Phyllis enjoyed careers in business and hotel management working with The Mead Corporation, WLW-TV and as Credit Manager for the Sheraton Hotel in Cincinnati.

With the closing of the hotel for demolition (the current site of the Westin Hotel), Phyllis decided to pursue a career that was more challenging and would really hold her interest. Because of a long time interest in architecture and real estate, Phyllis settled on a full-time professional real estate career and has never looked back. Phyllis is now one of the five equal partners at HHB Partners, Inc. Realtors®.

From the beginning, Phyllis has been a successful and accomplished Realtor, ranking in the top 1% of residential Realtors in Cincinnati. For 29 of her 30-year career, she has been a member of the Cincinnati Board of Realtors® "Circle of Excellence" (formerly known as "The Million Dollar Club"). Phyllis is also a continuous member of the Ohio Association of Realtors® President's Sales Club. For 2004-2005, Phyllis was among the top ten in the Circle of Excellence based on commissions earned. Over the past few years, she has earned top ranking in the "Pinnacle of Performance" category of the President's Club, which is the highest honor designated by the Association.

Throughout her career, Phyllis has been involved in many facets of real estate sales, including single and multi-family residential as well as commercial real estate. She has also participated with several builders and developers in the renovation of older homes, playing a central role in the product development and marketing plans for many of these properties. This varied background makes Phyllis an ideal choice for representing Buyer clients through the home building process: from site selection to contract negotiation to selections to that exciting move-in day...and after. When hired as a Buyer's agent in a new construction purchase, Phyllis includes an Architect's review of plans and specifications for the home to be built.

In 2003, Phyllis was selected by a Los Angeles developer to be the exclusive listing agent for the conversion of the 1960s Chestnut Hill Apartments in Hyde Park into 124 condominiums. Phyllis renamed the development “Hyde Park Place Condominiums” to give the community a new identity. As of October 2006 all but four units had been sold. To make this conversion such a remarkable success, she and her licensed assistant, Holly, along with Dennis Cronin, architect and contractor, worked closely together. Throughout Hyde Park and Cincinnati, agents and the public have been amazed as the entire community took on an updated look, highlighted by a beautiful new Clubhouse designed and constructed by Dennis Cronin, architect and contractor.

As part of her services, Phyllis specializes in relocation for corporate clients moving into and out of Cincinnati. She works with many relocation companies and local companies representing employees of AT&T, Cincinnati Bell, Procter & Gamble, IBM, A.C.Nielson Company, Delta Airlines, Even Flo, Sara Lee, Ethicon, Convergys, Fifth Third Bank, among many others.
